East Coast Industrial Factories is an entirely Australian-owned and operated construction company. Established in 2000, ECIF initially manufactured steel buildings in Sydney however during the past five years, ECIF’s reputation has become so renowned that our services are now in demand throughout Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific region.

OUR FACTORIES

Our buildings are manufactured from universal beam for long life and low maintenance and engineered to comply with relevant Australian Standard codes.

Wind and cyclone loads are in accordance with SAA (Standards Australia Association). We provide factories for many industries - Agriculture, Commerce, Government, Commercial and Domestic applications.

We supply a range of building designs that are fully available to be customised to suit your requirements. The range is available in all wind categories, including cyclonic rated buildings for cyclone affected areas.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION   

- Sheeting produced from BlueScope Steel coil in both ZINCALUME® and COLORBOND® options.

- We use extra strengthening feature as standard on all buildings. Purlins and girts are designed with added
overlap for significant strengthening; plus a rafter-over-column haunch system that is unique, delivers
ultimate integrity to the most fundamental connections in the building.

- Factories can be created in any size ranging up to 50 meter clear span

- Designed for full or partly enclosed, walls. There are also models which may also be enclosed with concrete 
panels or other fine rated systems i.e. Bressa blocks.

- Our factories are Portal frame modular with span and eave heights to suit your requirements.

- Designed for footing or piers.

- Skilled engineers are available to develop new designs for new locations, building codes or specific
requirements.

- Our range of buildings includes designs in the following sizes: 

* Spans (clear): 9m to 50m

* Heights (wall): 4.5m to 15m

- We specialise in clear span building (meaning no internal columns for a clear work area with no obstructions).

ECIF employs 15 full time staff, who have been employed since we opened in 2000 (proudly conceded a zero staff turnover).
